EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

1. The Hindu College of Eng., Sonipat organized Zephyr - 2005. Our students participated in Eleven events. We bagged three first and two second prizes.

First Prize

1. Poster making – Puran – MCA 3rd Sem
2. Hasya Kavi Samellen – Neeraj Batra– MCA 5th Sem
3. Group Dance – Pritika, Shakshi, Taranjeet, Krishna – MCA 3rd Sem

Second Prize

1. Solo Song – Rasika – 5th Sem
2. The AIMT, Ambala organized an Inter College Management Festival on 26th Feb. 2005. Our students participated in five events. We bagged Two First prizes and One Second prize. First Prize 1. Solo Dance – Krishna – MCA 3rd Sem. First Prize in AD-MAD Show – Rishi, Vineet, Ashish MCA 3rd Year. Our College has also obtained the Best College Running Trophy.

3. The Cultural Committee organized the Inter-department declamation competition on 19.03.2005. The winners of the event are:

First Prize- Pritika Vats MCA II yr
Second Prize – Sheetal – MCA III yr

English Declamation
Second Prize – Sakshi– MCA II yr

4. On the Orientation day of our college which is held on 11.08.2006. The students had participated in no. of different events.

5. MCA has organized N.C Idol in march 2008. Mr. Manish of second year won
2nd prize. 6. Deptt. organized Debate Competition on the Birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in 2008

7. MCA has organized N.C Idol in April 2009, 2010.

8. Harmeet Singh Sethi of MCA Final Year has organized a Event “Young Turks” for developing Mathematical Aptitude in students in Nov 2010.

Sports Activities
Highly sophisticated infrastructure has been provided for indoor and outdoor games. NCSD Group of Institutes organize Inter-College Annual Athletic Meet which includes various Track and Field Events including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m race, 4X100m, Shotput, Disc Throw, Long Jump, Triple Jump etc.

Our students participate in these events and win various prizes. 

Cultural Activities

NC Group of Institutes organize Talent Show every year for all round development of the personality of the students. In this various arts, moral and cultural activities are held and students compete to get recognitions and prizes.

NC Idol
NC Institute of Computer Sciences organizes NC Idol, an Inter-College Singing Competition every year to search a Singing Icon of group of colleges.

Blood Donation Camps
We at NCICS realize our responsibilities towards the society. NCICS participate in Blood Donation Camps organized in collaboration with Red Cross Society, Panipat from time to time. The faculty, staff and students donate blood for social causes. Other than this we have full fledged Red Cross Society of our Institute in which Sukhvinder Singh is an active member along with students of the Department.
