Message From the Director
Indian IT industry Technology has brought about the revolution that has transformed commodities, people and their relations. This was possible only due to development of the best and cheap workforce in this area. However, with the signing of the GATTS treaty, we have to work in the area of developing the knowledge economy too. Before this, the knowledge and innovation was available far and wide, without any barriers of nationality, language, culture, caste and creed. Now since we have affirmed to pay for inventions and ideas to the innovators, our software cost needs a fresh assessment. Generation of our own theories and procedures of software engineering is the first step. The National Seminar on “Latest trends in Software Engineering” organized at NC College of Engineering, Israna is an effort in line with what is required.
NC Group has always provided the highest quality technical education to its students. Its graduates are working in areas of engineering, computer science and management. We aim at maturing of Indian technical ability and "we-can-do-it" spirit in our students.
I hope that the seminar will impart technical know-how, enlighten new ideas and excite students to take on research pursuits in software engineering and technology, which ultimately will improve the chances to compete with the rest of world in the area of intellectual property rights and its commercialization.

MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR-ACADEMICS
From Our world and our society are profoundly influenced by technology. Technology has helped raise our standard of living and has resulted in replacement of simple techniques of doing our work by electronic and computing technologies. Still only the innovation in technology cannot guarantee a better society. We know that the realization of technical developments are ultimately influenced by society and not determined solely by their own logic.
We at NCICS are working not only on developing professionals in the area of computer technology but also on the aspect of making our students think on the application areas of it.
Looking at the nature of the object of research and interdisciplinary composition of the present technology, we have been using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods while teaching in classrooms along with classical methods of teaching. We also focus on development of the professionals by brainstorming, technology research orientation, system analysis, case studies, cross-technology study, cost/benefit analysis, computer simulations and also certain processes of development of software. We have been producing quality professionals in this area.
Winners are those people who make a habit of doing the things losers are uncomfortable doing.
